Expedition Loap Solo 2006česká verze Crossing of the largest European glacier Vatnajökull - solo and unsupported
This website is about Expedition Loap Solo 2006. The goal of the expedition was to traverse the largest European glacier Vatnajokull.
The expedition took almost three weeks. During its run detailed messages concerning the progress were sent every day to this website. These messages typed on a pocket PC - PDA and sent via satellite phone are creating an expedition's diary now. You are more than welcome to check it out...

Good luck on your journeys! Doesn't matter if you're going to the other side of a glacier, continent or just to the forest behind your cottage. Cheers!

This expedition is not about setting a record or about being first in something. It is much more important for me to give an example that inside, we have strength and abilities to reach our goals. I would like to show that with our own will, our goals can be achieved, even though it may seem almost impossible at the beginning.
